What we collect when you contact us, why we need it, who sees it and how long we keep it.
Coastal Bathrooms and Heating is a Gas Safe registered heating and bathroom installer based at Cumberland Avenue, Blackpool, Lancashire FY1 5QL, working across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. Gas Safe Register No. 970769.

When you use our quote form we collect your name, phone number, email address, the postcode or address of the property, the type of work you are enquiring about and any details you choose to add in the message field.
When you call or email us we collect the details you give us during that conversation, which normally includes your contact details, the property address and a description of the fault or project.
We do not ask for card details through this website. Payment for completed work is taken by card, cash or bank transfer directly.
To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote and arrange an appointment or survey.
To carry out and record the work, including notes on the appliance, system or bathroom so we can support the workmanship guarantee and any manufacturer warranty registration.
To invoice you and keep the accounting records the law requires us to keep.
To contact you about an annual service reminder where you have asked us to.
Where you send an enquiry, we process your details on the basis of your request and our legitimate interest in replying to it and quoting for the work.
Where we go on to carry out work, we process your details to perform our contract with you.
Where we are required to keep records, for gas work, invoicing and tax, we process your details to meet a legal obligation.
Marketing messages, if we ever send them, are sent only with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising.
We share only what is necessary with: the manufacturer when registering a warranty in your name; our accountant for invoicing and tax records; the subcontractors within our small, trusted team who are carrying out part of your job; and the software providers who host our email, quoting and enquiry systems on our behalf.
We will disclose information where the law requires it, for example to Gas Safe Register or another regulator in relation to gas safety.
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted.
Records for completed work are kept for at least 6 years so we can honour the workmanship guarantee, support warranty claims and meet accounting requirements.
Gas safety and installation records are kept for the period required by the relevant regulations.
Information is held in password-protected accounts on reputable hosted services, accessed only by the people who need it to quote for or carry out your work.
Paper job sheets and invoices are stored securely and destroyed when no longer needed.
This website uses only the cookies needed for the pages to load and the enquiry form to work. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
The reviews feed and the map are embedded from third-party providers, which may set their own cookies when those sections load. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the rest of the site will continue to work.
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our using it.
